| Services | Variety registration through trials across the country's agro-ecological zones; regulation of seed and seedling imports (permitted only to registered entities); quality control and certification through licensed field inspection at pre-planting, flowering and pre-harvest stages plus laboratory testing of purity, moisture, germination and vigour — at a state-subsidised service fee. |
