The forecast on the radio is for a city two hundred kilometres away, and it tells you what the weather will be — never what to do about it, and never which of your crops will suffer most.
A forecast for the farm, not the province
Divisi pulls the forecast for the coordinates you pinned, and reads it in plain words — what the week holds, how hot it will actually feel, how hard the wind will blow, how strong the sun will be. Fields close enough to share a forecast share one; fields far enough apart to differ get their own.
Not 'frost coming' — what to do about it, tonight
A warning that only names the danger leaves the hardest part to you. When Divisi sees frost, extreme heat, damaging rain or high wind in the week ahead, it raises the alert and the specific protective jobs with it — matched to the crop standing in that field and the stage it has reached. And when the threat leaves the forecast, it tells you that too, instead of leaving a stale warning standing.
Dry spells, which arrive without a single dramatic day
A storm announces itself. A dry spell does not — it is simply a run of ordinary days, each unremarkable, until the crop is in trouble and it is too late to decide where the little water you have should go. Divisi counts the run across what it has recorded behind you and what is forecast ahead, and raises it as a warning while mulching and moving your water to the crop that needs it most can still make a difference.

What we don't claim
Divisi is not a weather service and does not run its own weather model. It reads a commercial forecast for your coordinates and does the part nobody else does: deciding what it means for the crop actually standing in that field, and turning it into jobs. Dry-spell warnings are raised only where a crop is growing — a fortnight without rain on ground with nothing planted in it is the dry season, not an emergency, and warning about it would just teach you to ignore us.
