What we don't claim

The Hive is farmers talking to farmers, and farmers are sometimes wrong. Divisi's own agronomy team seeds and answers in it, and the crop, pest and disease guides on this site are the checkable reference behind any advice you get there — but a confident reply from a stranger is not a diagnosis. For anything expensive or irreversible, read the guide as well.

Questions worth asking

Other farmers, mostly — the Hive shows your question first to people growing the same crops in similar conditions, which is where useful answers come from. Divisi's agronomy team is in there too and weighs in, particularly on questions where a wrong answer would cost someone real money.

No. Your diary and ledger are private and nothing goes to the Hive unless you deliberately share that one entry. Posting is always an explicit act — there is no automatic publishing of what you record.

By being faster than anything official. When farmers a district away start posting about armyworm or quelea, you see it days before it reaches you — and Divisi separately raises scouting tasks when the weather starts favouring a threat to your crop. The two together are the practical version of an early-warning system.

Yes. There are community guidelines, posts can be reported, and the team removes what breaks them. It is a working space for farmers, not a marketplace or a noticeboard.
