TADB guarantees part of the risk on agriculture loans made by partner banks and microfinance institutions, so those lenders can extend more credit to smallholder farmers who lack sufficient collateral.

Who qualifiesIndividuals, SMEs and entities in agriculture, particularly smallholder farmer groups facing collateral inadequacy; the loan itself comes from a participating bank or microfinance institution, not from TADB directly.
What you getA guarantee (up to 50% cash cover) that lets a participating lender finance farm implements, inputs (improved seed, breeding stock, fertiliser and agrochemicals), irrigation equipment and other farm infrastructure.
