Planting for Food and Jobs Phase II

A redesigned version of Ghana's flagship farm-support programme. Instead of handing out subsidised inputs directly, it runs a zero-interest input-credit system: farmers get inputs on credit and repay in kind from their harvest.

| Who qualifies | A farmer or producer needs access to land or a farm, must be a Ghanaian citizen with a valid Ghana Card, must be growing one of the prioritised commodity crops, and must have their profile captured at the district level; an organisation applying must be a legally registered company or institution. |
| What you get | Farm inputs supplied on a zero-interest credit basis, with repayment in kind (produce) rather than cash — replacing the direct input subsidy used in the programme's first phase. |
| How to register | Contact the local Agricultural Extension Agent at the District Department of Agriculture; registration is captured on the Ghana Agriculture and Agribusiness Platform (GhAAP). |
